## How CPF Interest Works

### Base Interest Rates

OA earns 2.5% p.a., while SA and MA earn 4% p.a. Interest is computed monthly and credited at the end of each year.

### Extra Interest

Members below 55 earn extra 1% on the first $60K of combined balances, with up to $20K from OA. Members 55+ get extra 2% on the first $30K and extra 1% on the next $30K.

### Compound Growth

Interest is compounded annually. Your interest earns interest, leading to exponential growth over decades.
